So , a while back I built a modded QD truck and wanted a Gravedigger body . I couldn't find what I wanted so bought a Smyths GD truck , which in it's self is a great kid's toy but I used the shell to fit to my modded QD chassis and pinstriped the chassis to look a bit like the GD chassis - just for a laugh mind . I chopped off a fair part of the QD chassis front as it stuck out from the body and looked like a bucket and I filled in the void with pastic-card and rod . The wheels were painted to replicate the GD wheels and thanks to @Truck Norris  I was able to have the BKT tyre decals - thanks mate - great guy !! . The rear body mounts are something I had kicking around in my spares box . The truck has an RX / ESC and 1/10th servo fitted , and few other mods . Last pic is how it was in QD Pumpkin style

Looks good @KEV THE REV, i was looking forward to seeing it when you first mentioned it in the sales section of the forum

What body did you use - the 1/15th or "1/6th" from Smyths? They both look like they're a similar size with the 1/6th having a massive chassis and tyres to scale it up.

This is a 1/15th scale body , they did have a 1/6th job but I had nothing to fit it on .

The qd cars are well underrated. They go great with a small brushless motor

This is sporting a Lunchbox gearbox with a hot 540 in it with a 1060 ESC up top , a 7.2 stick pack and a modern servo installed  , goes well

I know this sounds like a daft question but is the 1/6th body much bigger than the 1/15th? From looking at pics online they look very similar although the 1/6th has a comically big chassis and wheel combo for the body. A bit like putting a QD Pumpkin on a Clod.

I've always been a bit fan on Grave Digger and would love to find a suitable body for a TXT-1 chassis

There is a marked difference . I measured what I needed from my modded chassis wheelbase then measured the Smyths body and it worked with what I needed . The larger 1/6th body was too big but I can't remember the wheelbase measurement , and you're right it is 'cartoon' with those wheels but it does allow it to ride over obstacles I guess . I have seen other GD bodies but more expensive and wouldn't fit this chassis . I didn't have to mod this body , so it can return to the original Smyths chassis if needed .
