If its already painted shoe-goo or double sided foam tape.

Anything else might risk eating into the paint. Ive never used shoe goo personally as its not readily available in the uk but most US peeps seem to reconmmend it.

Glue gun will work but be very careful. I have melted PS spray paint before so if i use it now I apply it to a wooded spatula / lolly stick leave it to cool for ten seconds then apply it.

Arraldite would be too strong / rigid - you need something that will allow for some flexibility.

I agree and confirm that.

Glue gun works very well, it helped me salvage a bunch of shells, some of which were close to unfixable. It's flexible, non invasive and eady to remove/redo. But you do have to be careful, as it might melt PS paint. At least the nozzle will for sure! That being said, I think glue gun is the way to go.
