G.T. power v2 Sound and light

Just bought the G.T. power  v2 sound and light Unit  but having trouble with brake lights, checked all connection and everything is correct but the brake lights are bright all the time instead of half brightness until you brake , don’t have any brake sound either. If anyone has any ideas that would be very helpful , everything else is working ok

Try calibrating the throttle or adjusting the trim?

Tried that a couple of times but no luck

Do you have a different transmitter or ESC to swap around?

I think I had similar problems with a light kit on the mini lunchbox.

The ESC throttle settings just wouldn't correspond properly on brakes. If you set the trim so the lights work. It would upset the fail safe on the ESC.

Had to make sure the kids turn the car and transmitter on in the correct order.

Going to change the ESC when I get around to it.

Do they go dim at all?

Is there a light controller box?. Or is it just plug and play?

Yes there is a light box and sound controller, I’ve reprogrammed  the esc a couple of times but nothing seems to work, haven’t got 

another esc to try

Don’t go dim at all on bright all the time

Don’t know if this helps but this is the unit I’m having problems with the brake lights bring bright all the time

i would not do the update for these kits as they tend to smeg them up i was watching a video the other day and he did the update and it really made it worse
