They are stunning. Almost worth buying another couple of kits just to get those motors in them.

Like pieces of jewellery.

The blue 480S is part of the 480T package.  You get to choose which color you want by swapping the endbells and sticker, but the internals stay the same (no new rotor or stator).

you know when i read it at RCMart it does say, "This is Kyosho LE MANS 480T 21.5T Brushless Motor w/ 480S Parts".

when i seen it in stock i didn't look at the pictures.

well i'll be a monkey's uncle😃

Thanx so much for the insight, still purchasing another one,

i don't like fumbling for colors.

Motor sure is nice, it needed to be posted twice.

I wish they actually offered a different stator wind that was 17.5T for the 480S (you know, for some actual speed increases).  Kyosho cheaped out on this release.  A color change and sticker swap doesn't make a 480T into a 480S.  14,430rpm @7.4V is slow.

it's a sad and like button push then,

these will be going into cars that do not need to see blurred vision

Whos to say the timing is the same ?  Between blue and green parts ?.  Just my 2 cents worth

Is S ( maybe stock ) and T ( maybe timed ) ? Just saying . Would like to find out if that is the difference ..

In Kyosho nomenclature 'S' is Speed, 'T' is Torque (and 'E' is Endurance). Like @matman says, are the screw positions on the end bell different to change the motor timing?

We need to know!

You mean to adjust the hall effect sensors?  I guess that's possible.  They are the only thing that could be adjusted mechanically, timing wise.  If it did change between the S and T endbells, you'd think Kyosho would have put it in the specs but there is no mention.

Edit:  Actually, the Kyosho product page does state this:

Quote

●Only the external appearance changes, not the performance.

So it looks like it's just a color change, no timing differences.

It's a COVID thing.

for the most part if they were two different motors and someone wanted two, they would had doubled their money on some orders.

Most manufactures The "S' & "T" as stated by martinjpayne  is what they stand for Sport (speed) and Torque, i've never seen an "E" Endurance one,

unless it was that motor i threw as far as i could.

I finally got the two 480T motors that I ordered from Banzai on October 6th!   They were shipped via SEA Oct 7th and sat in a US warehouse for two weeks starting Dec 2nd before finally moving to USPS distribution and delivered to my mailbox today.  So happy they were not lost.

The Kyosho LeMans 600E vintage but nothing has been re-released as and endurance model yet.

The first time I saw the Newman Porsche 956, I knew I had to have one:

Problem is, RM-01 unbuilt kits are pretty scarce these days. So I pulled the trigger on a Kyosho Fantom, in the hopes that I can make the Porsche body fit. Wheelbase and width are nearly identical between the 2. We shall see...
