Guest Posted April 25, 2020 Hey all, so I have been doing my fair share of buying and selling during lockdown on eBay and with everyone trying to help each other etc I realised that eBay hasn't had a £1 selling fee weekend in the last 7 weeks (I think). What is really strange is that they always have a 'sale' weekend when there is a bank holiday here in the uk, but not this time (the long easter weekend). This has lead to two schools of thought: 1. They want to make more money from the extra activity? (To secure their business 😉). 2. They are trying to restrict trips to the post office etc? (Although they have down nothing about collection only listings). Anyway, off to strip down my latest purchase.
taffer 946 Posted April 25, 2020 Yes I noticed that, I have lots of bits to sell and could do with that deal appearing
futureworks 861 Posted April 25, 2020 Me too, I think it’s a deliberate commercial approach in the current situation, which is a shame, but it just means I choose not to list anything!
