Hey,

I am currently trying to glue the tyres on my TT02 and was wondering if there is a good technique to do it? I end up getting glue on the outside of the tyre wall and it looks a bit rubbish.

Thanks in advance

You just pull the edge back out the rim with your thumb, and add your superglue with the other hand. Not too much, it is quite thin and usually runs around.

If you use proper tyre glue, it's extremely thin and capillary action will draw it around the entire bead.

Less is best, it's a different beast to conventional CA glue.

You could get a set of Tire glue bands. Not tried them personally though as I’ve been ok so far. 🤞

Tire bands are great for off road tires! They keep things nice and snug, especially with molded foams and soft race tires. Never need bands for on road tires.
