Okay as the titles says, let's see what you guys are using/used. Brushed, brushless, turns/KV, installed in which kit(s), spares, etc. We can also discuss any topics about motors here and share pics as well.

I miss old brushed motors I owned in the past.

- Kyosho Le Mans 240 ST (used it in my Frog)

- Kyosho Le Mans  480T (used it in my Frog)

- Tamiya Dynatech 01R (used it in my Astute and upgraded the rotor from 19t to 17t)

- Tamiya Acto Power (pink - used it in my FF-01)

- Tamiya Super Stock Type R (used in my TA-04R)

- HPI R2 23t (8 of this), Team Atlas Force 23t (8 of this, raced with my Pro4), Kawada VX-R 23t ( i had 4 of this) and a couple more of 23t motors

Currently I have a couple of brushed motors from GoolRC. Very cheap but surprisingly fast and very reliable. I have 17t, 21t (3 of these), 27t, 35t, and 55t. Also a Holmes 27t , Tamiya Torque Tuned (never used yet), and a Jonson silver can.

I also have only one brushless motor, a SkyRC Ares Pro 17.5t (V1) and planning to get another BL 21.5t. I'm also looking for an Acto-Power TRF tuned and a Dynatech 01R (hoping I could still find both).

Cant put pics on here easily, but as fad as brushed are concerned, i run a tornado 19x2, a BRM 16x3, a trinity pure gold 18x2, a tamiya acto pink and a parma cyclone.

In reserve i have a few demons, a shumacher pink power, a 18x2 kyosho mega, a dynatech, a reedy ultra green dot and a 17x2 lrp.

I run a few brushless too, all speed passions, but i do like vintage brushed motors.

I run them with vintage 80s escs too.

Wow nice to see those motors are still with you. I wish I had kept mine too. I was on and off the RC scene and every time I "retired", I never thought of coming back. But here I am again for the fourth time.

I havent had them from new, most of those ive only had a few months. I bought a complete old racers set up from the late 80s. A couple of the motors ive had for 10+ years and the BRM is a new built motor i requested him to build.

I remember seeing this motor in RC Car Action magazines, the Turbo 05. I've seen a few in local stores before but never seen one in action. Anyone tried or had this before?

If a stock 540 rere blackfoot comes with a 10T gear, what is the highest T count you can go with with that motor and with a sport tuned 540?

I have the original 10t, a 13T and a 14T. The 13 worked well with a Trackmaster turbo glide (which has since been removed). Experimenting now with MIP diff in stock gear case to see what runs well.
