why cant we post a video

just wondering, i dont wanna jump through 97 hoops to do it. ie, post to youtube  then link. i am a paying member, we cant even post high quality pics? whats that?

Posting a video direct to the forum is not offered to anyone - I presume it's to save bandwidth and storage.

I've never used a forum where direct video upload is an option

As a paying member (subscriber), you got that too.

 

If that's too much trouble/too many hoops, you may upload them straight to the forum but the space available is limited so you'll have to either reduce their size in  mb or delete older ones to make space for new ones.

What login do we use for the tcphotos? Mine does not seem to be recognised or I have forgotten my password.

It's the uploading to Youtube that's the problem - It's one hoop too many by the sounds of it;

If you have the YouTube app and the video is on your phone then it literally takes 30secs to upload 

or load it to imjur 

running a forum myself I totally understand why forums want to host the uploads (look at the photobucket debacle)

however as a poster I prefer to keep control of my uploads

thank you @TWINSET for the response and information. As i have always said the problem with texting, posting or emails is that there is no "tone" which can be conveyed. It is all inferance. We choose to interpret the intent and tone of the writer. Hopefully you will take my response and thankfulness in the spirit in which it is intended.
