Looks like you have a neat example to start with.

You're progressing well and looks like you know what you're doing B)

I'm looking forward to seeing how this restoration progresses. Looks good in black by the way.

Hi, very nice to see a rebuild. I just started a rebuild of my own Falcon.
One question, you also went for an ESC instead of the physical speedcontroller, but choose a Tamiya model apparently. Why a Tamiya? Is that the most appropriate solution?  I went to a modelcar shop and they sold me the Hobbywing 1060. It works fine, allthough I had to rotate the transmitter stick 180 degrees to get it working the right side up.

I buy a Tamiya for build a complet Tamiya RC… and i hope that i can install without problem on the car.

My expertise with the RC car is too small… with 25 years behind B)

If i have a problem, i could used  a TEU-101BK. It is more compact !

The advantage with the TBLE-02S is that you can install a brushless engine (more performant).

I discover it when i try to run it

Brunshless motor = 3 connections electrics files :o

Classic motor = 2 connections electrics files

Sorry :P

I remember when I was 13 or 14, seeing a Grasshopper in person was like seeing the most sophisticated R/C car EVER, then I started learning the Tamiya line, and when I saw cars like the Boomerang and Hot Shot, it was like MIND BLOWN at how teched out the cars were compared to the Grasshopper.   My dad's coworker's son had the Grasshopper and I remember seeing it in their living room at the time, I still remember that night in my mind to a T.  It was like 1987.  It was winter in Wisconsin, and Mark the kid who owned it, he drove it for me in the living room.  That car was like a bull in a china shop in a living room even with that Maubichi 540.  So good.

Can't wait to see you refurb this car!
