Mostly Core RC Receivers, but other bits, on ebay

Recommended Posts

Having another wee clear out.

I've gone to Sanwa now, so a couple of receivers I don't need.

May have some more in the future, if my daughter prefers a wheel, but only time will tell...

Stuck a bid on ;)

I'll never understand why they (Core RC, HobbyKing) stopped making these receivers. It's not like a newer model with more features superseeded them! They just kind of...stopped!

As far as I'm aware, there was one factory making them, and that went bust. Although they where good sellers ,seemingly not good enough to keep a factory a float!

Although, I'm placing my money, on the big corporations ,demanding ,the factory produce them for less, to a point where they couldn't.

My bucket list is a 68 Bullitt Pony. I just met a guy round the corner to me whilst out Corona walking with my misses and he has a replica one , but due to the distancing I couldnt get too close to the car as it was on his driveway,  but I shall return when I can and get some pics and maybe a ride in it :) . When do you anticipate getting yours back on the road ?

A guy I know up here has done a few, he's retired ,and does it more of a hobby, think theres 4 mustangs ,a C3 vette, a 40's Studebaker truck, plus a mk2 escort in atm.

I was hopefully getting mine finished 2013, but got married, then kids arrived in 2015......🤷‍♂️

Sounds like paradise mate .

Nothing like you see on the resto shows on Tv though! 😳😂😂

Big game of Tetris!

I'll give you a shout , when the next is up for sale, although I think it's a 'Eleanor' '67 fastback ,that's almost finished, so doubt it'll be pocket money.....

Man thats some cool stuff . My BL is the Bullitt replica . As much as I love Eleanor my true bond is the Bullitt . Some years back a neighbour of mine who worked at an M/C breakers came home in a Jacked up Charger and in conversation said that it was up for sale - I can't tell you how tempted I was to say yes , but as you know baby on the way , and I'd already sold my MK2 Cortina banger racer (clockwork orange team ) , so that slipped by :(

Funny you should say about a Tina and a Charger, another mate, sold his Tina a while back, bought a '78 TransAm, which he's just swapped for a '69 charger 440r/t! (Although the TA was taxed and MOT'd......😳) , just before lockdown, and it's now in paint, and the engine on a stand, getting rebuilt as we speak, in his lounge (the single life hey!?!🙄😂😂

Was a 4 door, changed to a 2, even then, we knew he really wanted a charger.....😂

MOT'd, running/driving TA for that....😳🤔

(Already replaced the rear quarter, looked like it had been someone's, shooting car!?! )
