I thought I'd move the Schumacher specific posts ,away from the ,General, tamiya posts on the main page @AlexB

You asked about high ground clearance on a Schumacher KD,  I've not got the KC  or KD, I skipped those and went from a KF2se, to the Laydown.

You want the ground clearance to be as low as you can, I start at around 20mm (I think in Scotland, we have the only outdoor season on grass -actually a lie, we've astro round) , and as the track gets rutted up, raise it slightly,  but it's more about picking the best line at that point Tbh.

The KF2 could be a shout, shares a few parts with the kc/kd and the Laydown, and is still a capable buggy, I've the , se ,version, which basically means you get all the different length belts and carbon strengtheners,  to enable, low grip ,normal grip and high grip motor/ battery positions, there's one on eBay the now at £100.

Plenty of setup sheets online -

For the laydown-

Oils and spring sets are fairly cheap.

Thanks - will look into these!

They do have a stadium truck coming as well, which might be interesting....
