Thanks Kontemax for the photos it has given quite a few ideas.

I am short of a steering arm and reinforcing plates for an Egress. I have and old Egress top and bottom deck that have holes drilled out and aren't really any good however I could make things from them.

The reinforcing plates for the Egress, are they just the same as the chassis in terms of carbon fiber same thickness etc. I assume they are the same shape as the Avante 2001 ones, therefore if I was to use those as a stencil I could make up some reinforcing plates for the Egress.

Likewise the Vanquish steering plate is the same dimensions as the Egress so I could do the same there.

What tools did you use to cutdrillfinish the parts you made. I was thinking rough cut with a hand saw and finish the edges with a dremel. Could even use the existing deck to make sure the outside edges were a perfect fit.

Will this hair brained scheme work or is it the lack of sleep I have had recently causing dellusions of grandeur.

The comapany i work for has a workshop so i'll probably pop down there and get it made up,i'm sure you can get a bit of ally fairly cheaply.

For Mountain: Egress carbon chassis, plates and so on perfectly fit the Avante 2001 but are stronger and 30/40% lighter. I cut the Carbon fiber with dremel and circular stone discs, then finish the job with small files.

For Jabba1: Modern 0.6 pinion fits Avante pinon gear. They are always the same...

Cheers
