Cant fit hard case lipo

I grabed a few hard case lipos. I cant get them into my TOP FORCE. Can i remove the battery stays from the TF to fit the lipo? Or are the battery stays part of the stabilizing on the chassis? Thanks

Take them out. They are for securing stick packs but the chassis can run without them using saddle packs or a stick with alternate way of securing it. The top deck provides enough stiffness.
