Anybody else have trouble with screws backing out of a steering servo's output splines? The outputs in question a just standard plastic Futaba models. My LunchBox and WR01 in particular are left with their servo savers dangling at times.

Instructions normally say use 10mm x2.6(?)mm screw? If you use a 3mm x 10mm instead it won't come out, you can also add a toothed 3mm washer (like Tamiya use on wr-02g) to help as well

I’ve had a few eBay purchases come my way with a good old wood screw having been used to solve this problem. A bit like taking a gun to a knife fight in my eyes though.

I think taffer is on the right track, an m3 or m3.5 will be a nice tight fit.

if you wanted to use the supplied screws, a really small amount of super glue might be worth a shot.

I had it on a metal shaft servo on the rear of my konghead but it turns out it was just too short. I put a longer one in and it has been fine.
