A Stupid Servo Question Or 2.

Recommended Posts

I have a new Carson servo fitted to my Honda CT which glitches when the car is turned on.

I have tried two different T/X and R/X sets and it still does it.

It works perfectly well, but it sounds as if something is interfering with it and I have to reverse the setting to make it turn the right way.

Any ideas why or if there is something I can do to resolve it?

Is it a digital servo? They are noisy, constant tiny adjustments, or something

If it works perfectly then its all good

Yes it is a digital servo JG,  the noise took me by surprise to be honest but it does sound like it is making constant tiny adjustments

As it works I’ll keep it 👍

Freaked me out to when I got my first one, they seem to be worth the extra noise though.

I have some digital servo`s that are noiseless and still at rest BUT all the others buzz and move slightly at rest, this seems to be the norm for digital servo`s.

You would think being digital it would be the other way round being new tech.

It probably depends on the quality of both the Servos and the RC gear that they are connected too. I have digital Servos in some bashers with “cheaper” radio gear that buzz, then I have high end race Servos in my 1/8 race cars that are quiet as a mouse
