slimleeroy 241 Posted July 2, 2020 Hi guys. Just trying to restore an old Optima mid and the 2 alloy gears inside the rear gearbox are totally knackered. Hopefully there are some companies out there making repro ones of these or can you buy anything from a modern kyosho that would be a replacement? Thanks guys Lee
catman79 346 Posted July 2, 2020 Hi, do you have any pictures of the gears, I have a ton of old kyosho bits, I might have some used ones in there

acprc 1443 Posted July 3, 2020 If you mean the diff gears then they are OT-28 and loads on Ebay. If you mean the counter gear thats OT-86 and on Ebay as well. Lastly, if you mean the centre gear its OT-85 and again lots on Ebay. If you dont have a manual its worth getting one or going to somewhere like http://www.retromodelisme.com/manuel_page/137/optima-mid-kyosho.html to view one.
