hi-cap confusion

I'm confused.

I've got a set of Top Force Hi-Cap bodies, building them up - all going fine until I try and fit the 53075 Hi-cap damper plastic parts - specifically the spring adjuster ring. It's just too small for the body, there is no way the two ends will come close enough to tighten the screw.

I'm sure the Hi-caps are all one size diameter aren't they?

53075 are for the mini Hicaps which are of a ever so slightly narrower diameter.  You need parts 53076 for the short shocks.

What's even more unusual is that the Damper O ring set (53077) is the same for both short and mini dampers.

The diameters of the high cap bodies and subsequent spring preloaded rings on the egress are different front to rear.

 The topforce high cap bodies are effectively 4 egress rears so all plastic parts should be Y parts.

If they are too small and marked X then they are for egress front dampers.

Check my buggy damper thread it lays out the differences in the hi caps, including explaining the mini version being narrower than the short versions included on the top force kit.
