Anyone used SMD esc/motors ?

Considering one of these for my TT02, any experience or suggestions for a inexpensive esc/motor combo ? Needs to be 3S or revert to good old Nimh

It's all the same stuff - just different labels on it

Cheap speedos and sensorless brushless motors. 

They are all 'ok' for what you pay. Both the Absima Thrust and GoolRC combos I have are seriously rapid. Bit of cogging but that's sensorless for you. You can't avoid it unless you pay sensored pricing. 

The thing that might catch you out is the size of the speedo. Check vertical clearance especially. Although on a touring car it's probably less of an issue.
