Why doesn't Tamiya make...

Like I've mentioned before, I really don't think Tamiya listens to ANYONE outside of the Japanese Market....

Yes.... Escort, Cossies and even the 240Z Bodies would be good sellers. IF they'd listen.

Tamiya just doesn't have its eyes on the prize....

True - Japan is the market Tamiya want to please. The West just comes along for the ride.

As for Escort, Cossies and 240Z Bodies, maybe FORD Europe and Nissan (now owned by Renault I think?) are very difficult to deal with ,  licensing issues could abound.

I think Tamiya should make one of these:

They already have most of it in their product line-up in the form of the GF-01 Heavy Dump. Just replace the cab section with a seat, rollbar and engine cowling,  put the tyres on the opposite way around, switch the motor wires so that it runs in reverse, and you have a 1/10 scale piece of plant equipment with authentic rear-wheel steering!

Come to think of it, the seat, rollbar and motor cowl sections look pretty easy to make out of plasticard. Maybe I'll just make my own...

I want Manta Ray Mk.II, just like the Mini 4WD but 1:10 scale.
(Not my pictures, 2nd one is Mass Damper on Facebook)
