Looking for a proper Stick transmitter

Quick question - as I'm still waiting for parts and am curious about how stuff works, can anyone tell me how it works when you bind multiple receivers and have several saved models on the flysky i6? Do the saved models basically just provide settings to the controller, regardless of the receiver connected? If I had two models turned on with bound receivers, would both operate when I mashed the controls? Or do I need to bind each receiver when I'm in the settings for each model?
