welcome to the club! Personally I would not build the nib and get yourself a second one already used to run and bash with. I think they are just too valuable to build and run. As far as bearings and esc I would say yes to both. I just put bearings in the axles and tranny in my bruiser and wow what a difference and it already had an esc in it so now she's all ready to go! As far as a radio goes if I remember correctly futaba makes a 4 channel specifically for three speeds it even says 4x4 on the front. In fact here is a link to the radio over at tower http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti00...&I=LXBCP2**&P=0 Again, welcome to the club!!

I agree with addict, I wouldn't build it. depedning on how much you got it for, you could always sell it and buy two or maybe three runners.

What do you get more enjoyment out off; looking at the pieces as NIB and let the NIB appreciate in value (provided Tamiya does not do a re-release)or enjoy the building process and experience the finish product. What ever is your decision enjoy it and if you decide to build it, put in at least 100% effort.

sell it and buy a runner bank the drifferece.

NIB does you no good except if your a collector, and if they do a release it's value goes down anyway
