Been out of this for awhile. Just built an avante reissue. I want it to go faster. What’s a good brushed motor to upgrade it?

If you're looking for a relatively modern brushed motor with a decent amount of punch, and staying brand-loyal, you can't go wrong with this:

any idea how many turns the avante motor is?

I think it's 25turn, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you're trying to compare the BZ with the Avante motor, just bear in mind that even for a 23 turn motor, the BZ is VERY well-sorted.

I have a SuperStock RZ in my Avante (ran my Avante yesterday actually). REALLY nice punch even with a six-cell Nimh.
