I have an AmPro FX 10 upper arm link rod plate fitted to my LB runner , but one of the ball cons came loose over time , so I decided to make my own one from thick alu plate just to see if I could . I cut , drilled and tapped , made a top spacer and bolted it through the chassis underside for extra support - rock solid and bomb proof .

  In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height. Is this what you had in mind?
