Midnight Pumpkin QD 1/14

Recommended Posts

I believe the monster beetle has a plastic box that the servo fits inside.

You may have to trim the mounting tabs from the servo to fit it inside.

Possibly wrap it in foam tape to make it a tight fit.

The servo gear should exit the hole in the servo box, then you fit the horn, and the brass balls to the horn and the wheel axle.

Then roughly guess the length of rod needed, cut to size, fit the 5mm adjusters and pop them onto the balls,.

You now have steering.

Have you managed to keep the 2 speed gearbox?

What are you running?

Can size?. KV? Lipo?

Yes, kept the two speed gear box - used a 2430 7200kv motor and a 2s Lipo battery 👍🏻

Just seen this, cracking job.

I've just got a 2030 and a 9.6v NiMH in mine and it's pretty speedy, so yours must be very very quick.

Here's mine from years ago.

That had the EZRUN motor but was still using Ni-mh back in those days.
