Hi folks,

this tread is for Dyna Storm owners.

A question: do you often break D1 and D2 parts?

They are the rear lower arm stays. I always broke them.

There's some hop up part or solution?

Cheers

Max

I haven't broke mine, though I don't drive my Dyna Storm very much. Have you tried Associated or Losi blocks? Sometimes you can retrofit whatever your hobby shop stocks.

Hi Massimo, I broke them once and immediatley looked for a solution. They are now improved with a thin aluminium plate glued to the under side of each block. use epoxy glue to do so and fill the whole blocks with it. Let this dry overnight.

File the edges of the aluminium plate to match the shape of the plastic block. Then drill the screw holes through the aluminium and you have a strong solution! I never broke one again, even under hard usage and high jumps on offroad tracks.

Just replaced mine cos i broke them. just bought two sets, will just have to be more carful with it, no more ramps!

Some alloy ones would be great but I haven't seen any available

Hi there! Here are the pics as promised. Not easy to take a good shot from short distance, but I hope you will get what I mean.

As already said the thin aluminium plate is glued (Epoxy! Strong!) to the lower arm stay. Don't make the plate too thick, as the stay will scrub on the gear box joint.
