ok since you two didn't even try to guess and taking the fun out of my lil' puzzle build, that black tubing is and for antennas,

LOL, must be deceptive photo, that looks larger diameter than my antenna tubes otherwise I might have suggested that.  Looks fab though.

little  Note: the first round of tubing was going to be the Capri Sun's straws Red and Yellow ones being slightly larger in diameter but i did not want to paint them .

They are thicker than a normal type drinking straw but as thicker more like the RC antennas. So if i do not need to paint something i won't now all i need to do is fuse (glue or melt) the cross members in place.

i had found some more areas to clad CF on for other areas as well, templates are made and just need to scroll out.

You may know this already..... But if you had to paint your Straws, MOST Paint flakes off of them, being a Nylon mix.

Polycarbonate Paint works just as well on Straws - and Nylon Suspension Parts, as it does on Lexan Bodies! 😉

Wing mounting plates (upper & under)

Under is .5mm CF...

Upper/Top Aluminum flashing...

The wing mounts will be installed as to hold the epoxy/resin process to sandwich these three materials together CF, Lexan and Alum.

This mount is for my aftermarket rear aluminum wing-spoiler. It shall be ribbiting, i mean riveting.

Oh what's next? well, pull up a water lily pad, relax and wait for it to fly by.

Can't wait to see the finished project. That aluminum and cf plate would surely reinforce the polycarbonate. I think it'll be better if you also put side bars in the roof line.

That should truly be STRONG! Just make sure all of your electronics are waterproofed... After all, it is an Amphibian!! 😉

Like this? and the roll cage is still not completed yet, still so much to do.

i removed the T-Pins and installed stainless steel 4FH Screws with UHU adhesive. later Ultra Black RTV Gasket Maker will help stabilize the roll cage and not be stiff in the channels.

Thanx Nic because when we build sometimes things do get overlooked.

Have the LED Front Lighting Buckets ready to assemble and the tail lights are working, been poking around with the other frog also.

You use Ultra Black too huh? I often pack the Grille and Front Bumper of my Bodies with it....

It's really helped me at times when a big Rock or a Curb has jumped out in front of me!! 😜😂

I really like the integrated Roll Cage. Besides the Cool Factor, it should offer a good deal of protection - so Froggy won't get crushed easily!! 😎  Definitely a next level Frog!!🐸

I may have said it already, but this is really inspiring me, when I can afford some Carbon Fiber Sheets. I've got ideas.💡💡💡😊

See what happened here?

so crud doesn't get in the spring cap damper plunger reservoir. Ok.

i supposed you could fill it with silicone or some other type of plug or cap, but this thick foam sponge rubber type material, does not soak up water, fairly lightweight and can be removed if needed.

That'll be one of those rare shiny leg Frog's then......Nice

Yes, i have glimpsed one these frogs on an adventure in the deep parts of the Amazon, they are a rarely seen creature, the indigenous people there find them hard to get moving, being there's no electricity in those regions:lol: and believe it or not they actually do not do well in water.

JAZ Rider Uprights.

Schumacher 53mm Titanium Turnbuckle with MST Rod Ends that fit Tamiya's ball ends.

Glancing toward the center is the ever elusive Tamiya Aluminum Servo Saver.

This REALLY is impressive!!! So to clarify... The Front "Springs" are just dense Foam, or the little Springs with Foam behind the Caps??

I'm planning something at least half as nutty as this with a Brat, and am starting to collect ideas.

I've got a couple of things in the works..... 😜

Ok those in the back row, there's empty seats here up front, so pay attention:lol: please.

In the Beginning there were no frogs..........................:o

This is going to get oil dampers(shock absorbers) so the sponge is just a dust cap/plug thinamajiggdoohickey to put in them thar holes, help keep the bugs out too.

I had first purchased the Yeah Racing Big Bore Go 75mm, then i decided to go with AE FOX Kashima's, just like grandma use to build.
