Hey all, I have a TT02 Carrere RSR and found when I buy tires for it they are tucked too far inside the wheel wells. I’ve gone to zero offset at the front and 3mm at the rear wish still isn’t enough. I’m thinking 3mm in the front and 6mm in the rear?  Has anyone tried this or have suggestions for different rims/tire combination that look a bit more realistic?

Did you buy the body separately or did you buy the full kit? The kit wheels and tires set up according to the instructions fit pretty well. If you don't have the original wheels from the kit, then you might have some trouble. The original wheels in the kit are 26mm wide in front and 32mm wide in the rear. The kit wheels are two-piece and the hub can be installed from both sides, leading to two different offset options. I don't remember what the offsets are for the front and back, but certainly a lot more than 0. The front wheels have an offset of 2mm or 4mm and the rear wheels have an offset higher than that, maybe 6 or 8mm? Most aftermarket 1/10 touring car wheels and tires are 0 offset and 24mm wide. Those will look very odd on the TT02 with the wide-bodied Carrera RSR.

As above, 3mm offset front medium (26mm) / 6mm offset rear wide (31mm) is what the kit standard two piece "Fuchs" style wheels would have provided.

You might be able to get other standard touring car wheels to work of you can buy different offset fronts / rears (ie MST wheels or similar) or use wider hex hub spacers.

Another option would be to buy the Protoform VTA tyres. Fronts are 26 and rears are 31.  I run those on my Porsche when I race it in VTA

All of the above!  Plus, if you built the TT02 Kit, you should have two extra long Stub Axles and two extended Hex "Brake Discs" made for that purpose...

But the proper 31mm Deep Dish Wheels do look better.

Yes they look better but they get expensive  if you drive the car and wear out the tires. Also, stock tires won’t work well as a rally car. Lol. I found that on the TT02 drift c parts tree item 6 are stub axles with a longer thread to use the wider hexes. But now to try and find some. Does anyone have a set they would part with or can measure one for reference?

@ldgasp Didn't know that, about the TT02D C Parts. Good find!  You're right also... The 32mm Wheels LOOK great, but they're expensive and not common.

Wider Stub Axles, wider Hexes and standard 26mm Wheels may not look as impressive, but they're cheap as Chips and plentiful. 😉

You could also try the 50808 extra long wheel axle to help fill the arches, and then some 10, 11 or 12mm hexes (loads of options on eBay) to help push standard 26mm wheels out over the axle
