Thanks for the comments chaps, it is much appreciated. I'll have to think of a more 'politically correct' calander I think. I'll have a look at what maybe on the walls of current garage workshops for inspiration I think...

A classic car calendar or Snap On tools would fit the bill maybe 👍

Great suggestions chaps. I'd thought about a hot rod calendar. I'll see what I can find.

I can't seem to keep out of this garage at the moment. I'm just having too much fun making stuff.

The wheels and tires for the M-07 have arrived.

I “borrowed” some card from my daughters craft box and printed the box shapes out first.

Cut out and folded.

5mm masking tape give the perfect scale look for 50mm parcel tape.

And a quick balsa wood pallet.

And some 1.5mm Kyosho panel line tape to look like 15mm metal banding straps.

I'll get a calendar up soon, then, honestly, I'll be back on the M-07.

We are collectively in awe I think!

I think it's missing a naughty calendar / poster or 2 though, all the workshops I've seen have had one... It's probably not quite in-keeping with 2020 equality standards though

This build just gets better by the day, unbelievable, those boxes are amazing. Just shown my daughters the pictures of this workshop and they said same as me, looks real.

Wow.

Just found this thread, and glad I did. I always loved your pics from the old garage but this is even better. So much for “not a modeler” @toyolien

Haha, I'll have to get some sort of calendar up. However, my 2 young daughters often help out in the garage so it can't be something too naughty...

@toyolien Do you happen to have a file, so we can Print Boxes too??

I use a 10 year old edition of Corel Draw. I'm not sure that it would work as a pdf, because of the scaling, maybe. I'll perhaps try and see if it work, then I can offer the pdf file.

Much appreciated. It's such a lot of fun trying to make things 10th scale look real in photos.

Ooh, that's a nice idea. I'll have to see what's about in 10th scale...

You're too kind. I think I prefer this new garage over the old one. It looks more 'used'.

Another little project completed in my scale garage. I have a few sets of spare m-chassis wheels so decided to give them new home. Not a very exciting build, but I thought I'd share it nonetheless.

This one is made from some nice b&q pine.

Some 2mm balsa wood, stained, to use are the top storage shelf.

Although I glued this together I also added some M2 bolts to break up the black paint.

All done. And ready for some wheels.

I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. I was a little concerned that black may not suit the rest of the furniture, but I think it fits in well.
