Sand Scorcher

Just a quick word to say that there is a real live, full size Sand Scorcher lurking in the Camberley, Surrey area!!! Heard it long before I saw it on Camberley High St on Thursday afternoon, unfortunatly I didn't get a close look but it's finished in red and is VERY loud.

That`s just up the road from where I live ... it sounds like the one I see parked along the road through Ripley heading from the Send end towards the A3 london junction, a little way passed the giant "FREE ERECTION" sign outside the place that sells sheds.

Yeah, someone get a pic of that sign, that would be hilarious!! No need for the Naja bug pic tho, we see those things almost daily here in California [8D]

They are very much a rarity over here in Blighty, I'm pretty certain I've never seen one before (and I've been around some time), hence my post! Customized Beetles used to be popular in the '70s but usually went along the opposite route to the "Baja Bug" I saw on Thursday, they went lower/wider/metalflake etc.

This one looked like it meant business off road, it was also getting a lot of attention with its very loud exhaust and high up dramatic style!
