okay will the w/w2 chrome wheeels fit on a re-release lunch box.

if so where can i get a set from "just the wheels not the tyres "and any idea on how much they sell for.

thanks

Nope. The tires appear to be the same but the wheels are not. The Lunch Box uses the old-style Tamiya wheel adaptor in the rear while the Wild Willy 2 uses the new "hex" style.

ok great so could you surpply me with all this stuff i need including the wheels. and if so what the damage all in. e-mail me if you dont want to put it on the site

I can supply, but the wheels only come with the tyres attached... so you'd be looking around £32 for everything.

(Not sure, but they might offer the Chrome wheels separately next summer after the Chrome pumpkin comes out - depends if it's supported with spares or just a special).

true the tires on the LB and WW2 are the same. the rear wheels are different. the LB , as stated before , has the old 5-pin style wheel and the WW2 has the hex style mounting. i know of the HPI adaptors that will mount king blackfoot wheels on a original blackfoot as the same situation happens on these 2 trucks BLACKFOOT - 5-pin /   KING BLACKFOOT - hex style. view this link and check out the lower right adaptor on the parts trees.......

also, the fronts should be a direct fit. and with these adaptors you SHOULD be able to leave your motor alone as these adaptors space out the wheels to stock location. they make the conversion a direct bolt-on with no modifications whatsoever. as far as i've ever seen the rims only come with tires mounted. however, they ARE NOT glued on so if you have any old stock aftermarket LB/MP tires there won't be any hassle changing them out! please if anyone has personal experience with this, correct me if i am wrong. but for $1.90 it's worth a shot!!! like i said earlier these DO work on the bigger 2.2" rims on blackfoot trucks with no problems!

this is great news cause the wheels i was after last years was hpi wheels and they came with the adaptors in the pack but i could'nt check this as the lhs would'nt let me open the packet to see if they did fit. so it looks like a trip to the lhs on sat to see if they still have the wheels in stock. i will just have to check to see if the tryes fit first also
