Been trying to distract myself from toothache by watching "Vintage Motorsport: Rally Cars" on Amazon Video. Featuring two of my favorites, the Mini Cooper and Renault Alpine (already represented in my fleet), it also features the Ford Escort quite heavily. I think I know what my next M-chassis purchase will be!

It was also nice to see that the vast majority of liveries used white as their base colour, so the pre-painted shell allows plenty of scope for scale non-boxart decal schemes.

Hold on. Front motor, front independent suspension, live axle at the back?  That’s a CC01 if you take the front drivetrain out.

I wonder if the l and l escort bodies would fit on a dropped one of those...

I have been considering doing this for ages, just not got around to it yet ;)

I've ordered mine with Time Tunnel and was speaking with them yesterday. Apparently it's their most in demand kit since The Hornet in 2004. :o So I'm not even sure if I will secure a kit from the first batch in January.

They will make a gazillion of these things over the next few years.

I haven't researched, but I imagine those scale dynamics wheels are for 'full-size' touring car chassis used in drifting. The new tamiya escort is on the m chassis and uses m chassis sized wheels and more importantly, tyres.

Full-size touring wheels and tyres on this would look too big, even these with the fake sidewall, since the outer diameter is still full-size.

I paid £164 to pre order it from Timetunnel models

Remembering that this IS a MF-01X for that money.... 😖

That's about $195-200 USD!!  I'm thinking about getting the Body, and plopping it onto a M08! 😁

...... IF I'm here in 2021.

what the heck does that supposed to mean?,  now you're scaring me Smalls:D

I've been in the Hospital for 8 days with temperatures in the 103-106 range, trouble breathing, eating and a burning throat... Waiting for the slow test results - but it COULD be COVID. 💔😭

But it could also be acute Tonsillitis.... We're hoping for that.  Wouldn't it SUCK!!?? My SHIP is FINALLY coming in - and I could be buried under the Dock.

Well, the timing is OK. I've worn the Tires on my M05 CRX SMOOTH and can't afford new ones.....

Are they the HPI Vintage wheels? They do look great, but aren't they full TC size?

How on earth have you managed that???? I had those tyres stashed away in a box for at least a year and got no wear on them at all!!! :P

If they are they are these, they are M chassis wheels. I have them under my BMW 2002.
