Mechanic AH 581 Posted December 11, 2020 Sorry if this has been asked before. I have some Polycarbonate kits that have larger decals than usual, the sticker ones. What's the best way to apply this so that creases and air bubbles don't happen? I always clean the body first and let it dry. I don't use my fingers especially on the adhesive side (I use modeling tweezers); I also start laying it down from one side to the other instead of just placing the while sticker down; sometimes I'll also mark a position with an erasable pen if I don't feel like eyeballing it; and, If there are bubbles I use a squeegee to remove them. But is there some sort of application/solution (i.e. Tamiya Mark Fit) that some of you use? Any other tips? Thanks.
ACCEL 2014 Posted December 12, 2020 lil' tiny drop of Dawn soap into water and silicone spatula. (5% soap / 95% water)
Mechanic AH 581 Posted December 12, 2020 @SupraChrgd82 I never thought of window tint solution. Thanks! I'm assuming it's fine with Tamiya RC decals? Have you tried this method?
Busdriver 6209 Posted December 12, 2020 Water, washing up liquid and finish off with a hairdryer. Works a treat.

Have you tried this method? I generally use dish soap, 1 drop per 500mL, but it’s more about the technique.
