ACETEC Blue Lightning vintage Grasshopper/Frog copy

Found this among my other bits in some storage bins at my parents house, no idea where it came from and I don't have a Tx or much else for it.

Brand is ACETEC and it was made in Korea (no date), takes 8 AA batteries, and this particular chassis is missing a steering servo (not a standard mounting system).

The body is a note for note copy of a Grasshopper (shrunk down and slightly mis-proportioned), and to my surprise the rear suspension has horizontal dampers like a Frog!

Anyone ever seen one of these before? I tried searching ACETEC but apparently no one on the internet has heard of them. They sure did copy a lot of Tamiya ideas though! Maybe they got sued out of existence?

This one didn't come up in my first searches, looks like the same chassis as mine but with a Hornet body!
