I think I’m being dim so don’t judge me ;)

ok so just trying to set this Quickrun 10BL60 up with my transmitter and I can’t get a decent reverse sorted

I have programmed the ESC to mode 2 (Forward / Reverse with brake)

ive also set the end points on the ESC

HOWEVER - unlike forward where the end position (I.e. full throttle) shows red and green lights on the ESC - in reverse I’m not getting the green, only red :(

so here’s the set up....

(2nd hand ESC in a second hand DEX210)

Using an abisma AFHDS CR3P, flysky Tx and Fantom brushless sensored motor (the motor and ESC were already in the car)

the Tx has the standard settings (but it is the 3rd model on the Tx)

Trim - zero

Dual rate - 100%

Exponential - 0%

ABS - off

EPA - 100%

Rev - Ch2 set to Reverse.

im struggling to fathom why the ESC is not detecting full reverse

help ;)

Hi,

Regarding the reverse, If it's still set at the default setting of 25% you will not see the green LED. You would need to set it at 100% (number 6) and recalibrate.

As for the rear wheels locking up, is the drag brake on ?

Ok - will look into that - thank you

I think the rear wheels locking is linked to the slipper clutch. Seems to be a common problem with a spacer in the gear box that wears and allows the slipper to push against the motor plate

I’ll have a look tomorrow - thank you

You've not said, but I'm presuming you've calibrated the esc, with all the transmitter settings at 100% ?

Next thing I do with all my esc's,  is set it to ,forward / brake only , just so i am 100% sure ,forward is forward!!
