Trouble getting the Rising Fighter running

Hello all,

Could anyone give me advice on what I might be doing wrong. I have brought a Rising Fighter for my son and built it however I can't seem to get it working. I brought a Etronix Pulse Ex3G Radio System and a TBLE-02S ESC with it. When I turn on the transmitter and then receiver the LED is solid green and the alarm is sounding continuously. The ESC is connected in to Channel 2 on the receiver and the steering servo is connected in to Channel 1. The ESC's yellow cable is connected to the yellow cable of the brushed motor and the  ESC's blue cable is connected to the green cable of the motor.

I have uploaded a photo so you can see the connections.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't open the image, I would guess though that the ESC maybe set for brushless instead of brushed?

It was this way years ago when the ESC was originally released but unless you have an old kit, all kits should come with it pre-set to brushed.....

Hello. It looks like the ESC is connected to the receiver in wrong way. The connector can sometimes be attached in two orientations. The right orientation is where the black wire (or darkest wire) is closest to the edge of the receiver.

Thank you both for your help. I am managed to get it working, it was a combination of faults.
