WPL D12 Kei Truck, isnt it nice?

Recommended Posts

so I have been thinking to let go off the thunder tiger phoeni idea.. and get this instead.

I think this has so much moding potential that I would like to try it. Drifting has never been my think, but if this Kei truck works out great, I might also buy a C24 at some point.đ

Basically why I dont WAnt to buy a buggy from thunder tiger now is that, its raining all the time, and as much as I want to drive it on brushless I think I will pass and get a Kei truck instead and drift it from the living room.

I am missing such stuff and with the bug cargo area I think me and my 4yr old son might have fun with it. more as with the buggy.

SO this review nailed it for me.

also I found these bumpers on ebay and much other stuff... reallyy great.

That wheel mod has unhappily wetted my appetite. New Years resolutions out the window. Thanks a bunch:P

well at least they are cheap.  I haven't really looked at these before but they do look like a lot of fun - if I was still able to go to a drift club I'd consider one as a backup / silly drifter, but I wouldn't get any use out of it at home.

As a real life Milkman's Son, I grew up riding shotgun in vans like those (Honda Acty and Bedford Rascal, to be speffic).  I'd love to do one with the canopy over the bed like the one my parents drove, complete with the company sign over the cab, tilted back on an angle where my mum drove it under a low-hanging branch that was hanging lower than she thought.

yeah it was kinda little bit like that - there was an aluminium pillar at each corner with a flat (or probably slightly arched) aluminium or plastic canopy that came out over the edge.

Actually if memory serves, that particular van had the drop sides removed, and the canopy was a bolt-on flatbed item that was wider than the van body.  It had right-angle section around the edge that was high enough to stop the big blue plastic crates that the milk bottles came in from falling off the side.  It would usually be stacked 3 crates high at the start of a round and I'm pretty sure we never lost any off the back.

Off to print some 1:12 scale milk crates and bottles...

Having seen some of the stuff you do it would be like falling off a log. And as its standard dolls house scale theres all sorts you could put in the back..https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/261031647/148-scale-milk-bottles-and-carrier-kit?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=dollhouse+milk+crate&ref=sr_gallery-1-30

I'm actually quite good at falling off things, luckily there are no logs in my garden otherwise I'd fall off them all the time.  As it is I have to make do with falling off the 1:10 scale mountain, falling off the foldy-chairs and falling off the swings

That itchy right finger has done it again. Truck and metal hexes on the way. Went for two batteries but passed on the rear cage. Bit pricey for a bit of fun.

Yeah the attachments are not under 10usd and thats a lot for a small rear mirror or idk... the body kits go up to 50$

I was also thinking about the 2 batteries, I can get it for 60$ with shipping
