Will this motor work with a mtroniks eco27 speed control???

NO! - The eco27 has a 27 turn motor limit, this dynarun motor has less turns (More power) and would fry the speedo pretty quickly.

The Dyna Run racing stock motor is 20T. So you need an ESC with 20T limit or less.

You should have used the eco20 esc if you had that motor. It would have cost another £10 though.

I know it does not make a a great difference, but I thought the Dyna-Run Racing Stock (53272) was a 23x1 not a 20x1?

I just read it from my Tamiya Perfect Album book. It says 0.65 x 20T 350g-cm/18400rpm./15.1A

Sounds like there is a difference between the 2 motors offered in different regions (much like the RS540 sport tuned)

i have since bought a eco20 and it works fine.

though the eco 27 did last for two battery's

What car you got those in just out of interest? That's the ESC I have in my Baja King

they were/are fitted in a tlo1, fully ballraced, speed tuned gears,dyna run racing motor,just have a problem of it not sticking to the road now!

Sounds familiar, I have the Baja King (TL-01B) Last night I bought and installed a RCLine PC-12 ESC, Carbon Prop Shaft, Speed Tuned Gears. Add that to the existing fully ball raced chassis, and 21T motor and you have a flying Baja. I think I might be taking out the Speed Tuned gears at least []
