Ive got a mon-tech mini body and i started to work up a pint scheme. the window masks are not great. But the rear side window masks are so bad the im just going to mask them myself. Really? Like if you are going to provide masks then they need to "fit". If not then dont include them.

Hehe, yeah it frustrates me too. I had same with a few shells recently including Kamtec, Schumacher and Tamiya. If you are going to mould in window frames than at least make the mask the same damned size, not 1-2mm smaller all round. I got some narrow flexible masking tape and had to run a thin strip around the 'masks' to get my windows to extend to the frames.

I find if the maskings are too small, I cut them down the centre so they fit each side then mask up the centre. Although I often just mask up using tape anyway, it takes more time but it's worth it.

Also when it comes to putting down the paint, I like to put the cans in a tub of hot water for a few minutes, then shake the can well before painting, it goes down a lot better.
