Running the stock ESC this kit came with, I believe it is the TEU 105BK.... it says the limit is 25turns. I’ve since read That is pretty underrated and a lot of folks have gone below that. I had 2 new motors on hand, a Dynamite 20T and a Mabuchi Sport tuned 23T, the newer one thats in the silver can with the black sport tuned decal, don’t know if you can even get the all black can anymore but I’ve read that’s not 23T it’s a 27T advanced.... anyway that’s another topic. I decided to try the 20T and if the 105BK kicked out or fried whatever Id get a new one that is more suitable. Well it doesn’t kick out and it sure goes like a bat out of badword now. Anyone else try this, going below that 25 or even 23 limit on these ESC’s supplied in the kits? I think I might have to do some better shocks if I keep this motor in there as you have to be more careful now as to how you drive it because I’m willing to bet that motor added at least 10km/hr if not more and as we all know the stock suspension is pretty bouncy and not that good at keeping the van rubber down. The faster it goes the harder it will crash. On another note there is countless info on the gearbox issue where it canters up when you slam on the gas and the motor strikes the rear spring....which is worse with the 20T now. I was thinking of just taking a spare round piece of plastic from the parts trees and c.a gluing it in those front shaft guides to limit the travel of that front gearbox rod/shaft altogether. Seems like a very quick free cheap solution to this issue does it not?.... Kind of like adding the spare white bearings in the kit as spacers under the front shock bolts on top to correct the horrible camber issue which I’ve also done. If I do in fact attempt this I will take pictures and report results. I am not a millwright but a mechanic by trade I think that kinda helps with tweaking this Van to make it a little better with supplies we probably all already have on hand.

There are a few fixes for the rear slap . 5th shock mod on axle , AmPro trans.  brace , and fishing line mod.  (Shenlonco's fix ) . I've used the 5th shock and the AmPro brace and they both work , the fishing line works too . Try a search on here and you will see the info. I've run a 15T motor and brushless but with matched ESC's , can't speak for the 'out of parameter' installations .

You could fit oil dampers , and there are double wishbone front conversions for the LB . I've done 3 different conversions , and there is 4th that I haven't tried yet and that is an AmPro conversion kit . I've also grafted in a Kyosho Ultima rear end which has independent rear suspension

Ya I’ve seen the 5th shock mod tones and the ampro brace and the fishing line. I’d like to go with the least evasive method and the fishing line just looks and seems ghetto. There’s a lot of upgraded shocks just trying to decide which to get as there is lots available. I’d like to go with the genuine Tamiya 50520’s but let’s be honest they’re pretty pricey and you have to buy two sets. There was also a Tamiya part # which I’ve lost for a pack of 4 cva oil shocks in yellow you could install to the lunchbox and don’t know if they’re available anymore anyway. I just wanna lower it some so it’s more stable and hugs the ground better with a better shock. I’ve read some people install the oil filled Blackfoot or Monster beetle ones but can’t seem to find any. Any other decent priced oil shocks to consider? I know this has been discussed 1000 times sorry.
