Quick search for sale/trade items

I think it would be great for a search box that we could type in say "scorcher" and it brings up a list of everything "scorcher" thats for sale/trade. I find it hard to look for items i want and can only really check the latest posts. You get a few inquires when 1st posted then nothing after about 2 days. (as soon as you item goes off the list with pictures on the trade page. Just a thought...

This one is a good idea though... I'll look into it.

On the other hand you should be visiting every day and reading everything anyway...

Yeah, had my thinking cap on. I do check but if i buy a damaged car i forget what has been listed a while back. Will try to come up with a few more ideas if i can.

still alot of trouble really. And if everybody does that, they would only be on there a very short time. Not to mention taking up the bandwidth (i hope thats the correct term, not to hot on the technical side!)

We don't allow the manipulation of posts etc to boost them back up the lists. That said in the forums if you post does drop off the first couple of pages and you feel it hasn't been resolved then it is ok to delete it or edit it to bring it back. A different week, a different bunch of people will be reading.

This should not be abused though.

don't get carried away Lister - the bandwidth thinf was a complete red herring, about as wrong as you could be. Don't worry though its the thought that counts
