OK which production car has the most Tamiya models to date?

Different decals, different chassis, same body?

I'm going to say the Ford escort?

How could you forget!! She was the best one!!!! Still looks absolutely amazing.

Seen her a couple of times at those sci fi conventions where middle aged bearded blokes with beer bellies, real ale T-shirts and poor personal hygiene attend. Which means I fit in perfectly obviously.

Yep, the answer is Subaru Impreza. ;)

(this post may be disputed by official sources)

I'm pretty sure this makes this incorrect as there are loads of Imprezas, but multiple body shells - 97/99, 2001 Prototype, 2001/2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008

I think the most with the same shell was the 97/99:

97 TA03 Tour de Corse
97 TL-01 Tour de Corse
99 Arai Version
99 German Rally
99 Monte TG10
99 Monte TT-02

I'm guessing a Nissan Skyline

I think this is right, specifically the R32:

Road version
HKS
Axia
Calsonic kit
Taisan (TT-01)
Road XB (TT-01)
Drift (TT-01D)
Drift (TT-02D)

If you count body sets as models then there are even more:

Calsonic (different stickets to full kit - number 1 rather than 12)
Taisan
Axia
Unisia Jecs

Were are these conventions held? if what you described about the middle aged fella's includes dodgy knees I should maybe check these convention's out?? (apart from my personal hygiene is very up to scratch)

The last one i went to a few years ago was in milton keynes. Let yourself go for a few days and you will blend in just fine.

Ok ok, yeah a scoob is a sccob, they went downhill after the classic anyway

Skyline R32 it is.

I think after that very detailed answer, you should post the next teaser :)

I think the wife (and daughter's) would definitely have something to say way before I get a chance of getting anywhere near mk! I went there for a rc racing weekend in 2019 it was billed as a total rc racing weekend with stalls and manufacturers of all things rc cars and racing! And unfortunately after a rubbish journey in traffic with roadworks and accidents etc it was a bit of a waste of time the manufacturer's you couldn't get anywhere near because of the barriers which you weren't able to cross and one rc stall (can't remember the shop that it was) but very expensive!.......rather deflating experience😕

OK, how about this one:

Which Tamiya RC model does NOT have its fuel source (battery, gas, etc.) located within the vehicle itself?

How about the sail boat?

Hmmmm, that's a good shout, they have servos and reciver to control it I assume, but are they just wind powered?

Has anyone got one? :)

OK, as far as I was aware, the Dynatech 02H was not included in any kits.

But I was "today years old" when I found out that it was...

But which one?

Electrics control the steering (rudder) and sails, but all progress is from the wind.
