TT02 Higher / Wider Tires Suggestions

All I would need are long C3 wheel axles. 

can I get longer wheel axles for the TT02?

I definitely like the classic type look of those tires on your Audi. I was looking for bigger TT02 wheels tires a few weeks back mainly to give it some off road capability (flipped wheel uprights too), I found these on amazon that fit just right. About 3" OD on the tires. Probably too low profile for what you are after but they worked well on the TT-02...They are straight black, the gold is me and a paint marker.

Thanks, and That looks real good. And yes I’ve noticed come to Amazon and the possibilities seem endless with respect to tire selection / 12mm hex. And I would have gotten just any slightly higher and wider tire but then when I realized I could have the actual tire size (not tread) and exact rim as the early Audi kit, I had to have it. No doubt my endeavor cost x4 what the Amazon choices cost but I’ve got to go back to me roots and this is the way that makes it possible. Standby for RCmart delivery of four rear Willys wheeler tires and rims. I can’t wait!!

Well RC mart finally came thru. Let’s compare these to the original Audi kit.

pretty cool!!  so far i’m liking it. Maybe raise the body up a little bit?

 

I can’t wait to try it out. I hope I don’t have to trim the body much for steering.

Looking cool. I like this slightly comical look with the tires standing out of the arches.
