Tamiya Super Stock Motor

Hi

I have just bought a Tamiya Super Stock Motor. I run a Mtroniks AutoSport 20 Turn ESC. Will this electronic speed controller be fine with this motor. I understand sometimes the Super Stock motor can make an ESC cut out! What is the best pinion to use? I should add this will be going into my DT-02 chassis.

Should be fine, superstock is 23t, haven't used a mtroniks for 10+ years though!

Thanks for reply. 

I was just concerned about this cutting out stuff after a few minuets on some youtube videos and having to solder things on, which I really don't understand.

What's the most popular choice of ESC these days? I went with the Mtroniks as that's what the retailer recommended as it was plug in and go and easier to install over the Tamiya.

Hobby wing 1060, 1070 or 880 depending on model.

I prefer modelsports xt-12 because of the proper switch for normal buggies
