Roby's board and database.

Chris,

I got my email telling me that roby's board is no more. However I feel kinda sad. In the email it mentioned that it started with rcvoltare's board, roby's, and now yours. I feel like we should make a link to roby's website sort maybe like a thank you.

The is a prominent link on the main page of the forum, although if you missed it perhaps its not that promient?

I was sad too. Everything has to evolve and so has the vintage discussion board. I think everybody will agree that this board is better than the old board. No pop ups and more categories to talk about.

Yeah everything on this board is great. Chris its not a link to the message board. Roby's board is done. I think we need a link to roby's database (his home page) -maybe as a small thankyou to everything he has done. Thats all.

In the manual-database on the site you'll find a link to Roby - his showroom though...

You see Chris, we NEED a links page these days...

About Roby's board, I never really used it because it had all those annoying pop-ups. A forum just don't work well for me with those pop-ups. Hope you never even think about placing pop-ups on this forum, Chris!!!

I appreciate what you are all saying guys. Robys board was what got me back into the game of collecting after a long time away, and I was the first to send my thanks to him.

But there is going to be no link page.

There is a link to the forum, and anyone is free to put links into the links thread.

I want to thanx Robby for his board - it helped me alot when I started again with the restorations!!!!

Secondly I would also like to ask that his boards' info must not get lost for its really valuable info.

I learnt a lot from Roby’s broad and would not be a member of this club if it were not for him.

It is also nice to see that my first post managed to got moved from ‘general discussions’ to ‘Did you know’. COOL
