Well I'm thinking about that from so long now, and didn't find time to ask it in the old board: shall we have a generic forum where to talk about everything non rc ?

I mean we all know we love Tamiya, but I'm also sure most of us love same music, love cars/moto, have problems with pc, etc etc.

I know there are lots of forums about that, but I thought it would be great to share other interest by members of the same comunity.

Suggestions ?

I can set that up no problem roby - not quite sure how it would turn out though, but its worth a shot.

Can I put you down for the admin role?

Could be an interesting read, could be more trouble than its worth - but I'll try anything once. Its now open and available at the bottom of the Threads list. Anything even approaching abuse of the system or in bad taste will be removed. If this happens too much the forum itself will go.

A generic forum always sounds good on the surface BUT sometimes it's just too much trouble. For example, I come to the Tamiya boards for my daily R/C fix. I don't come here for someone else's theories on politics, world hunger, ford vs chevy, guns and pics of our dogs/cats. There are other boards for those things. When you get those differences of opinions, some people just can't help being aggressive and resort to name calling. Now, this is one of the best run boards I've been on and everyone seems to get along nicely so it may not be a problem. But, you will now have to police the boards more. Well, that's just my small rant. Back to your normal programming. logo_member2.gif

How about a "specific general forum" icon_smile.gif Have the admin setup topics allowed.

Anything RC, big car, trips, etc.
