Comical Buggy wheels - same diameter as WR02 wheels?

Quick question - can anyone confirm if the two-piece Comical Buggy wheels are the same diameter as normal WR02 (Wild Willy 2) wheels, and if the regular WW2 tyres will fit on them?  I've managed to crack the rim on my G6-01 and want some replacements, but I'm not sure about the standard chrome so was looking for an alternative look.

I had a thought about this before on one of my projects , I didn't find out though - would be interesting to know as they look good

Sorry to hear you cracked a wheel on the G6-01.Too bad the comical wheels won't fit those tires, I think that would have looked cool on a G6 platform.

Thanks @ThunderDragonCy - it's not actually a big deal as it would be quite expensive to get 6 wheels anyway, as there are two lots of plastic parts to buy.  It's a shame even the WW2 wheels aren't a common size, as far as I can tell it's Tamiya wheels or move to something totally different.  I didn't really want to go with a crawler or scaler tyre, it's supposed to be a monster truck so it needs fat chevron tyres

The cracked wheel isn't stopping me running it - it's just taken a part of the outer rim away.  I think it happened some time last year, I just haven't got around to doing anything about it yet.

I don't really like chrome wheels.  There was a WR02 that came with black wheels but (while WW2 wheels can be bought as rear only) they are only available as a front-and-rear set, and aren't really available anywhere right now.  There are white wheels available (in the same 4-pack stylee) which I could dye or paint, but I'd end up with 6 unwanted front wheels.  I guess I'd just have to make a trailer or something :p
