As on the title: How do I change my username? [:I] Do I have to change it at the club (which isn't possible for now), to get it automatically changed in the Forums as well? I want to change it but the VERY LAST thing I want is to loose my posts count (I am almost Avante [:)] ). I hope this is possible, because I finally thought of a nick. I found it a bit boring to use Sjoerd for everything, it's my 'real' name as well. (Hey, I can't help it we got difficult names in Holland! [:(!] LOL [:o)] ) Ppl are calling me Sjeord and Sjoert, I think my new username will be much easier to remember (especially for Non-Duthies as most of you here). [8D] And it's more origional as well... I hope you can help me out here.

Sorry for the newbie question guys. But I can't find it out on my own... [8)] Well, that's what forums are for I guess... [:)]

You need to change it in the forum first then to EXACTLY the same thing in the main club site (when the edit details page is active again - which will be in the next day or so)

You shouldn't lose any of your post rating.

It's a How do I question, and a 'Tamiyaclub' question as well. I just couldn't pick! [:o)] LOL

Do I have to change it in the Forums and showrooms for technical or practical reasons? Don't worry, I'll change it in both parts of the site (in the same thing that is) [:D]

How do I change my name in the forums? Is this disabled because it's not pssible on the main site as well? (and we want to keep those the same [;)] ) Or is it something else? I just can't change it now. (I remember this possiblility was there when I checked the forums a while ago... [:)] )

HELP HELP!!!!

I still can't change my username in the Forums! I tried it in the showroom and that worked. (Got it changed back now.) But it it still the same in the forums and I can't change it there(That's why I changed it back on the club becasue we want these to be the same [;)]) Please look into it for me, I am getting desperate here!

Again, th last thing I want is to re-register and loose all of my posts... [xx(] [:(!] [:(]

What is this?!?!

I can enter any username I want with my own password and I get into my profile [:o] Entering my username and my old password will get me in the edit page, but it will not change it when I click 'submit'.

I still can't change my name in there though, it's getting weirder and weirder here, ppl! [xx(]

In the edit facilities there is NO option to change your name, you can see it but not change it. I can change email, website everything; except my username. Please look into it for me Chris, as I am getting desperate... [v]

Can't seem to change forum user name under "Edit User Profile", Chris.

I tried it myself last month, when I moved from 'P-Bear' to 'WillyC'. The TamiyaClub main side changed ok, but the Forums got me re-registered it as new, from scratch.

I think this is kind of strange, this means you CAN but you MAY NOT change your username in the showrooms, because they can't be the same in both the forums and the showroom in the end. [;)] [8)] [:o]

Not even looked at it yet.

Sorry as far as the club requirements go (which cater for the majority of the other 450+ members)

The ability to change username is pretty low on the priority list. It will get addressed but it could be weeks yet, so dont hold you breath.

BTW when you infer that Willy makes silly mistakes, the words Pot, Kettle and Black spring to mind - rearrange these words to make a well know english saying. [;)]

I was kidding, didn't I mention that? And I didn't say he WAS making silly posts. Though I didn't say he didn't. [:)]

It's the other way around: Willy has been very helpfull and friendly to me. He has some good advise. [:D] So if 'the pot calls the kettle black' (we have a simmilar saying in Dutch... [:D] ), I am very helpfull, friendly, and I give good advise! [:D] Thanks for these kind words, Chris... [:o)]

We all have our 'silly-posts-days' [|)] I don't really mind, it sometimes might be usefull... [;)] Sometimes it's fun to read as well... [^] I think Willy is a good member to this community (where would we be without him? [:o] [;)] ) LOL [8D]

I am also surprised most ppl think we speak some kind of weird German, that's also not true. Dutch is a language on it's own, no dialect or something.
