Got the dots?

What heppened to the 'dots' which used to appear in the 'cars' to indicate that a manual was present for a given car? And wasn't there supposed to be a new set of dots to indicate reader's review present?

Manual indicating dots where just making the page too hard a work for the server (300 odd filesystem accesses in one go every time someone hit the page) This was one of the things that took the site off line a while ago. It won't be back for a while until I work out another way of doing it.

User review dots will still appear....at some point

How about fixing the dots, to be updated manually only periodically?

will think about it - problem is as the site grows anything which require manual intervention becomes an overhead I can do without.

This is a good point. I'm sure I have some of the missing manuals now, but I'm not sure which one's are missing now? Am I just missing it?

I didn't mean making you manually bring out your pencil-n-clipboard, Chris... [] more like something along lines of MS Excel's "Recalculate" function (ie If one doesn't need it to recalc everytime ENTER is hit, it can be switched to 'manual/force' and only recalcs when you hit F9).
