Foam Bumper on TT02B

Has anyone put a foam bumper on a TT02B? The standard bumper is a little inadequate and I’d love to have a foam bumper on there.

Is there any solution, Tamiya or otherwise that is plug and play?

Could you use the foam bumper from the TT02 touring cars?

I think i read somewhere that tt02 parts can be used but will need a longer screw to attached the bottom bumper plate to the chassis.

I think you have a few choices to add foam

- double sided tape/foam to stock bumper 

-slit the foam and use ties

- buy the Tamiya upgrade parts , but I don’t have it so I don’t know if it will fit the tt02 bumper

-remove bumper and screw foam to the front arm tray and hope the u bolt stays in place

The tt02b and tt02 front arms are attached differently , so swapping parts means cutting up both the tt02b tray and tt02 bumper and use longer screws

So I would use double sided tape and shave the foam to look natural
