No forward only reverse

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

bit of a weird one. I have one tble02s that won’t put put forward. Tried several motors gone through the set up several times checked all my end points etc.

what’s weird it that the reverse and brake are working fine. The esc has an unknown history and apparently wasn’t working correctly in brushless mode but I though it was worth salvaging for brushed use.

any ideas I feel like I must have missed something obvious here 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sounds like it has been set to forward-only mode and you have either:

  • your transmitter servo reverse the wrong way
  • the motor wired up backwards
  • the drivetrain reversed (which can be done by mistake in something like a TT-01).

You can tell if it is in forward only mode by the LED sequence - https://www.tamiyausa.com/media/files/45057ml-801-efb9.pdf
